The Basics of Yoga Course
If you are brand new to yoga or have been out of practice for years and want to strip yoga back to the basics, this is the course for you. We will meet for 45 minutes each week over 6 weeks and learn common seating and standing yoga poses – building up to sun salutations and flows as well as breathing techniques that may occur in your future practices. We will go through how to use props and take alternative postures to help support your personal practice whilst you build up your strength and balance.
This course is suited to all abilities and is a non-judgemental slow space to look into yoga slowly and carefully to build your confidence ready for starting a regular yoga practice.
