Over 55's Yoga

A flow of specific poses adapted to practice on either a mat or chair in the same class through stretch, flexibility, strength and toning to meet everyone’s needs and abilities. Through funding, this class is free for your first 4 weeks and then continues at a subsidised rate of only £3 per class!

How can you Benefit from Over 55’s Yoga?

By practising yoga, you will build strength, flexibility and increase your range of motion. Whilst aligning your breath to your movements as guided by your teacher, you will improve your focus and bring yourself into the present moment before being guided through meditation in Savasana to clear your mind at the end of every practice. The poses in this class aim to aid the problem areas experiences most by those over 55 – including lower back pain and shoulders. It is also adapted to both chair and mat practices in the class to all levels of abilities and mobility so it really is a personal practice to support your journey.
